A box of delights
We all know there can be some pretty shabby games on the app store, I’m sure you’ve downloaded one or two in the hope that the game matched the cute little icon, only to be disappointed. So I held out little hope when an app containing more than a few games for 59p appeared, particularly after the awful All 54 Games (reviewed here last year). It seems, though, I was wrong.
All-In-One Gamebox is, at the time of writing this, up to 35 games. That’s 35 games in one single app, and all for 59p. In fact, Triniti Interactive have packaged together all the games they sell separately into one app, which is jolly nice of them considering the space I have left on my iPhone for new apps.

Virtually every type of game is covered here; Defence (Ancient War and the shockingly similar to Fieldrunners game Blighted Earth), Worms style games like Bowman Attack, the Lemmings-a-like Chicks, Climbing game…er… Climber, Sideways scrolling fighter iKungFu Master and shooter Iron Commando and even a Sudoku game.

Apart from the odd few, most of these games have a polish that you’d be surprised to see on a single app store game, let alone one in such a packed compilation. They’re all housed in a neat scrolling menu and have a ‘home’ button in the corner of each game to take you back to this menu.
A few corners have been cut here, mind you. Music isn’t always that great, usually involving a short loop, some games are pretty short too. But weighing this against the asking price and the fact that you’ll save precious space on your iPhone it’s no big deal breaker. In short, All-in-One Gamebox is a pretty impressive package.
