Motion Ninja adds motion gaming to the iPad and iPhone
by Paul Byron on Friday 5th Oct 2012

Wave your hands!

Game Boolean have been hard at work on an API for the iPad and iPhone to use the camera as a motion tracker in games.  Their first game based on this technology will be Motion Ninja.

While the game is still awaiting review, the video below shows how easy it manages to track movement, in a similar way to the Xbox 360's Kinect system, but without the added cost.  We're hoping to get some hands on (or should that be hands off?) time with it soon.

Game Boolean are hoping that the game will also raise awareness of their new API so it can be licenced out to other developers.
