THQ Unleash De Blob Revolution on the App Store
by Jamin Smith on Tuesday 9th Mar 2010

We can only presume De Blob is German. Or Austrian. Or just illiterate.

THQ Wireless' De Blob: Revolution has snuck onto the App Store, with an all new type of game using the De Blob title. While the original Wii title was a 3D platform-puzzler, Revolution is described as a 'puzzle action maze game', bringing some brand new gameplay mechanics to both the De Blob series, and the App Store.

The game features some 4000 levels, offering hours of gameplay on the back of crisp and colourful visuals. Puzzle fans might want to put £1.79 to one side, as De Blob: Revolution is a wholesome package with a lot to do.

THQ Wireless also announced that game will be heading to iPad, adding to a growing list of games confirmed for the platform before it's release.

From the iTunes description

"De Blob is back - and another color Revolution is needed! This time De Blob goes inside the buildings where people are trapped as graydians by the evil INKT Corporation. Find the best possible route through each floor of the building and save as many graydians as possible - or all of them, if you can! For further rewards you can get a bonus for solving the mazes very fast or facing the threat of a bunch of INKT agents chasing you through the building."
