King of the Iron Fist Tournament - on your iPhone.
An anonymous source has revealed to Pocket Gamer that Namco Networks is bringing Tekken to the iPhone, confirming the rumours that hit the interwebs a little while back.
The source revealed that the game is pretty far along the development process, and apparently 'plays rather nicely'. Whether the iPhone version has been built from scratch, or will be ported from the recent PSP version of Tekken 6 remains to be seen, but a port is certainly the more likely option. It's also likely to include a head-to-head mode, but we can't confirm this at this point.
There's no other concrete information on the game, but it's due to be shown at GDC next week, so we'll be able to report more on the game then.
UPDATE: Namco have revealed that Tekken will in fact not be shown at GDC. But didn't deny that the game was in development. We'd expect an announcement soon regardless.
