From the creative mind of Asbjoern Soendergaard - developer on the PC blockbuster Crysis - comes a an altogether more calming experience. Tactile Entertainment's Pocket Creatures is a Tamagotchi of sorts that puts players in charge of an exotic island, complete with it's very own pet.
Using the touch screen, players are able to praise, scold and play with their furry little friend. Every element of the creatures life is influenced by your actions, much like a real pet. The island itself can also be manipulated to your liking, with many elements that would be more commonly associated with Harvest Moon.
Although bordering on sickeningly cute, the graphics are impressive and the concept looks intriguing. Pocket Creatures could be one to look out for.
