Fetchup Brings Stylish Fruit Catching to the App Store
by Jamin Smith on Tuesday 2nd Mar 2010

Why he wears a medieval visor is anybody's guess.

Bounding Circle just dropped us a line to let us know that their stylish fruit catching game Fetchup will land in the metaphorical basket of the App Store this Friday.

The concept is simple: guide a cute medieval-helmet-wearing lizard dude around a 2D plane in order to catch fruit that falls from the sky. Making things harder for the poor little chap are the flying mechanical nasties that patrol the sky. For some reason they don't agree with his fruit catching antics, and will throw the odd bomb into the mix, which should be avoided at all costs.

Bounding Circle boast that Fetchup is the 'ultimate fruit catching experience', and with Open Feint integration and a rewarding multiplier system, there's every reason to believe them.

To whet your appetite in preparation for Fridays release; take a look at the fruit-filled trailer below.

Fetchup is available come Friday, with a budget price tag of £0.59 ($0.99).
