SEGA dig deeper into their archive but have failed to improve the emulated experience again.
SEGA have already released a fair few ports of classic MegaDrive (or Genesis) titles wrapped up in their emulation software, You've probably seen Sonic 1 and 2, Streets of Rage and Golden Axe kicking around the App Store already, and now they have seen fit to give Ecco and Space Harrier II the same treatment. Unfortunately, as we have noted before in our review of Sonic the emulator SEGA use for their iPhone ports is generally pretty poor, so unless you have a speedy iPhone 4 you might do well to avoid these titles which reportedly suffer from lag issues.
