More Than 5 Million PvP Sessions Racked Up In ZENONIA 2
by Chris Thomas on Monday 19th Jul 2010

An update is on the way to cater to hardcore multiplayer gamers.

Zenonia 2, arguably the best RPG on the App Store to date, has a multiplayer component that we must admit to overlooking. It turns out that you guys didn't however as GAMEVIL have announced that there have been 5 million PvP sessions played to date. GAMEVIL explain...

PvP Arena is a place within ZENONIA 2 where users can upload their own unique characters and play asynchronously against other players' characters. GAMEVIL says that the average player that has accessed the arena at least once enjoys more than 50 sessions in total, and notes that at its peak, more than 100,000 sessions have been played in a single day.

In an effort to make their characters highly customized and unique, users have been actively searching, creating, and sharing items for the game. GAMEVIL has added IAP(In App Purchase) within its latest update last month selling additional items to assist this.

GAMEVIL says it is preparing a large update next month to support the community with additional items and features, and also plans to bring the title to the Android Market later this year too.

"We'll choose user quality over user quantity any day." says Kyu Lee, Head of GAMEVIL USA. "These numbers show how loyal and active our fans are, and providing what these users need and deserve is where we place our main focus on."

ZENONIA 2 is available for $4.99 from the App Store on the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad.
