Comparisons to Rolando will be made very quickly.
Indie developer Knife Media have revealed to Touch Arcade that they're bringing their unique puzzle platformer Choma to the iPad. Originally developed as a PC title, Choma gained a fair bit of attention when it became a finalist at the 2009 Unity awards. Now, Knife Media are releasing the game exclusively on the iPad.
The game follows Choma, a bouncing piece of fruit (according to Knife Media themselves) who rolls and bounces across the glorious and diverse environments that make up the levels of the game.
Choma is looking likely to do for the iPad what Rolando did for the iPhone, ironic considering the two share a very similar aesthetic. Knife Media are aiming for a late 2010 release, and are already expecting Choma to be one of the first triple A titles available for the iPad.
