GoF2 may well be our most anticipated iPhone game of the year.
Why are we so excited for Galaxy On Fire 2? It certainly has a lot to do with the fact the original was superb as we noted in our 9/10 review...
Despite some slight issues with the difficulty early on, Galaxy On Fire is a must buy game for your iDevice. For the asking price you are getting an astounding amount of content in a game that is extremely polished, beautifully presented and above all enjoyable. This game is now an ambassador of the iPhone; strong enough to stand alongside the platforms finest such as Rolando, Crayon Physics Deluxe and iDracula. If there is a higher recommendation than that I am not aware of it.
A lot has changed since then however, lets not beat around the bush, standards have improved and we now expect more from our iPhone games. Fortunately it seems Fishlabs are set to deliver, something you can no doubt see for yourself by casting your eye over the screenshots and teaser trailer embeded below.
The game is currently in beta and is expected to be released in October for both the iPhone and iPad platforms.
