Chaos Rings might be our most anticipated game for the iPhone.
Square Enix's upcoming JRPG Chaos Rings seems to be taking shape nicely and, according to Takehiro Ando, the games Producer, it will be ready for submission "much faster than expected".
Takehiro provided some new screenshots and explained the battle system further, admitedly in slightly broken English but we think you can get the jist...
"I heard that many people are curious about controls and the battle system. You are going to tap buttons to attack, use items, and use “Genes” which are some magical powers and special skills. Also you can tap or slide to change the target. There are “Solo” attack and “Pair” attack in the battle system. The “Solo” you attack with one person, and only the one attacked will be hit from the enemy. The “Pair” you attack with two, and you will damage the enemy more than “Solo” but both of the two will be hit. You are going to use a pair of man and woman in this game. Man is powerful, and woman is swift but has less stamina. Strategy is required in the battle of CHAOS RINGS! I promise it will be very fun!"
