TAG games' GTA style crime'em up is just around the corner so to celebrate we have managed to secure the Car Jack Streets city map as a timed exclusive for AppGamer readers.
For anyone that missed our interview with Paul Farley (MD of TAG Games) you might be wondering what all the excitement is about. Here is a choice exerpt...
"The truth is that Car Jack really isn’t all that similar to GTA or Payback once you get beyond the fact that all these games involve driving vehicles in a city environment and engaging in various tasks. What really sets Car Jack apart is that it has been designed from the ground up for play on a mobile device. This means the game runs in real time. If you don’t pay the mob boss $50k a week, every week in real time it’s game over. If you play at night it’s night time in the game. If Danny tells you he needs a driver at the bank in five minutes – well that’s five real minutes and so on. This has the effect that Car Jack Streets is best played in short bursts of 15-20 minute play sessions – ideal if you’re on the move."
